Leg Day Like A Super Savage Saiyan

SAVAGE MIND

So why did I name this deadlift workout KAMEHAMEHA well because of Broku of course.

Here's the thing. The build up to your big lift is probably more important than the big lift itself. It's the foreplay.

So what are the functions of the Warm-up?
Answer: Movement Rehearsal, Elevated Body Temperature, Systemic Excitation & Functional Preparation. Nerdy stuff right?

You can warm-up however you like but I'm going to focus on the warming up during my lift.

So here's my prep for my big deadlifts (and i'll apply it to my other big lifts as well).

I tend to use 45lbs as my benchmarks eg: 135/20reps, 225/15, 315/10, 405/5, 475/3.

If your numbers are lower you can use 45s & 25s or 10s for presses as benchmarks. Up to you. Like I said this is what works for me. Building up, practicing the movement and mentally preparing for the lift.

I'm 41, I like to ease into the lift, ya know, all that ol' Savageness builds up. Until...

KAMEHAMEHA!!!

SAVAGE SOUL

On the 8th Day, The Savage Lord created the Savage in his true likeness because that gypsy Eve not only took Adam's rib but apparently his spine too.

Stay Savage, my friends.
